Terms of Service
Effective date: 10 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CodLite — the dashboard, API, mobile apps and website at codlite.com (together, the "Service"), provided by CodLite ("CodLite", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using CodLite for an organization, you confirm you're authorized to bind it. Questions? Email contact@codlite.com.
1. The Service & beta status
CodLite is an operations platform for Cash-on-Delivery e-commerce sellers. Parts of it are in active development and may be offered as a private beta — those features are provided "as is", may change or be withdrawn, and may contain bugs. Your feedback helps us make the production Service reflect how sellers actually work.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you spot unauthorized use.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe someone's rights;
- send spam or contact end customers in violation of applicable law or platform rules;
- reverse-engineer, resell or overload the Service, or bypass its security;
- upload malware or try to access data that isn't yours.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
4. Your data & responsibilities
You own the data you put into CodLite. For your end customers' personal data, you're the controller and CodLite is your processor — you're responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process it and for honoring your customers' rights. How we handle data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-party integrations
CodLite lets you connect third-party services — storefronts, advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook) Ads and TikTok Ads, carriers and spreadsheets. Those services have their own terms, and by connecting them you agree to follow them, including the Meta Platform Terms and the TikTok Developer / advertising terms.
- CodLite accesses only the data you authorize through each connection's scopes, and uses it solely to provide the Service to you.
- We're not responsible for third-party services or changes they make to their APIs; a platform may suspend or change access at any time.
- You control your ad spend and campaign decisions. You can disconnect any integration at any time — see our Data Deletion page.
6. Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment provider. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and we'll give notice before changing prices. During a free beta or trial, some features may be free and pricing may be introduced later.
7. Intellectual property
CodLite and its software, design and brand are ours and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You keep all rights to your own data and content.
8. Warranty & liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data synced from third parties will always be accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
CodLite is the entity that provides the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where CodLite is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
